Le Rendez-vous du Yachting Classique

The event enthusiastically attracts enthusiasts and collectors from around the world, and each edition sees more than 100 units of classic boats, both sail and motor, converge on Monaco.

Traditional sailboat regattas, motor yacht navigation by dead reckoning, motorboat endurance and maneuverability tests, etc., all of these races evoke the spirit and ambiance of early 20th-century nautical competitions, when speed and inventiveness were central to maritime meetings.

This competition evaluates manners, style, a particular regard for life, and proper behavior in public, all in a hugely celebratory spirit.

Participants

The motorized canots, especially the acajou-wood models, have an elegance and performance that are unparalleled and echo the heyday of yachting. These embarcations, which are frequently from the 1950s and have been tastefully restored, capture the spirit of both the era’s technological innovation and luxury marine culture.

Participants

The Monaco Classic Week is made more charming and traditional by the classic dinghies. These little voiliers, which are frequently made of wood, are prized for their manageability and timeless elegance. Designed to travel close to the coast and take part in recreational activities, dinghies provide an amazing view of the water where the skill of the marines is on display.
