Monaco Classic Week brings together an exceptional fleet of more than 160 period vessels.You will discover over 50 majestic traditional sailing yachts, 14 elegant classic motor yachts, 70 vintage motorboats including an exceptional fleet of 52 Riva boats and 25 competitive Dinghy 12’ boats.Together, these vessels embody more than a century of living maritime heritage, creating a unique and unforgettable spectacle.

These beautifully restored gems embody timeless elegance and the deepest respect for authentic maritime traditions.

4 – Discover Contemporary Art: Rock & Royals by Kos Evans

The “Rock & Royals” exhibition by artist Kos Evans presents a unique series of photographs printed on vintage sails.

At the crossroads of contemporary art and maritime heritage, these monumental works celebrate the sea, its legends, and the personalities who have shaped its world.It is an original fusion of nautical heritage and modern artistic expression.

5 – Immerse Yourself in Motorised Elegance: The Riva Boats

The mahogany runabouts by Riva and Chris-Craft embody the spirit of the 1950s and the legendary Italian Dolce Vita. For the first time, more than 50 classic Riva boats will be gathered in Monaco, forming an exceptional fleet that reflects the timeless elegance of this golden age of motorboating. Among them, Lipicar IV, Carlo Riva’s Aquarama No. 486, will be presented by his daughter Lia, highlighting the unique legacy of this legend of classic motorboating and mechanical innovation.

6 – Delight Your Taste Buds: The Chefs’ Competition

Talented chefs will compete in the kitchen… aboard their own vessels! In partnership with Moët Hennessy and using imposed ingredients, they will showcase remarkable creativity to impress a demanding jury. The jury, overseen by Philippe Joannès, Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2000, and Simon Ganache, Head Chef of Y.C.M. Events, combines gastronomy with the Art of Living the Sea. It is a unique celebration bringing together culinary excellence and maritime passion.

7 – Attend the Elegance Competition

The Elegance Competition offers a spectacular parade on the water where traditional sailing yachts, classic motor yachts, and vintage motorboats glide majestically across the harbour. An exceptional jury, chaired by Allegra Gucci, carefully evaluates the elegance, style, and refinement of each vessel. It is one of the highlights of Monaco Classic Week, where maritime beauty meets respectful competition.

8 – Celebrate the Winners of the Monaco Classic Week Trophy

The Grand Jury, chaired by Sir Robin Knox-Jackson, the first sailor to complete a non-stop solo circumnavigation of the globe, honours the most remarkable boats of the event. The Monaco Classic Week Trophy recognises faithful restoration, elegance at sea, and the authenticity of the participating vessels. It is a solemn and emotional moment where the living history of yachting meets the present day.

9 – Explore the Free and Accessible Village

Located at the heart of the YCM Marina, the Monaco Classic Week Village allows visitors to meet around fifteen exhibitors, including shipyards, marine craftsmen, painters, photographers, sculptors, antique dealers, the official Y.C.M. boutique, and iconic partners such as North Sails.

This free area, open to everyone, offers an unforgettable cultural and artistic stroll along the quays. 

10 – Stroll Freely Along the Quays – A Unique Atmosphere

The event is also about the lively atmosphere of the quays: conviviality, cocktails, encounters, and a unique ambiance where glamour, heritage, and celebration come together in the heart of the Principality. The quays also showcase mechanical treasures, including a 1930s BMW 309 surrounded by vintage motorcycles from 1932 and 1957. Visitors will also have the opportunity to take part in a knot-tying and seamanship workshop organised by La Belle Classe Academy on Saturday, 13 September at 3:00 PM. It is a unique opportunity to learn traditional maritime techniques from experts.

How to get there?

In train

Monaco railway station is only a 7-minute walk from the Village and the event area. Take the Sainte Dévote exit for direct access to the quays and activities.

In bus

Bus No. 600 from Menton – Sainte-Dévote stop From Nice – Princesse Antoinette stop Monaco’s public transport network provides direct access to the event venue, with several stops located nearby.

By car

The Grimaldi Forum car park is an 8-minute walk from the Village and paddocks.

The car parks near the main harbour wall, known as the “digue”, provide direct access to the Solarium, with spectacular views over the race area and harbour basin.

Electric boat

The electric boat bus allows you to cross the harbour and reach the Village from Quai Antoine 1er. It is an eco-friendly and scenic way to discover the Marina. Visitors, immerse yourselves in the world of Monaco Classic Week, where tradition and elegance come together. Do not miss this exceptional event dedicated to sea lovers!
