Ashore as at sea, the event organised by Yacht Club de Monaco will host some 50 classic sailing yachts, 14 period motor-yachts, 70 vintage powerboats including an exceptional fleet of 52 Rivas, and 25 from the 12’ Dinghy class. A unique spectacle, bringing together over a century of living maritime heritage.

True centenarian legends will be sailing in Monaco’s bay: Partridge, the majestic gaff cutter launched in 1885 and celebrating her 140th anniversary, Oriole and Vidi II, witnesses to 120 years of history, not to mention Mariette of 1915 celebrating her 110th birthday in style. Beautifully restored, these jewels embody timeless elegance and respect for maritime traditions.

Mahogany runabouts by Riva and Chris-Craft, icons of the 1950s Dolce Vita, will take centre stage. For the first time ever in the Principality, 50+ classic Rivas will gather in Monaco – an exceptional fleet embodying the timeless elegance and spirit of this era. Among them, Lipicar IV, Carlo Riva’s Aquarama No.486, will be showcased by his daughter Lia, a tribute to the unique legacy of this powerboating legend.

Talented chefs will face off in the galleys… on board their yachts! In collaboration with Moët Hennessy and using set ingredients, they will unleash their creativity to surprise a demanding jury, supervised by Philippe Joannès, Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2000, and Simon Ganache, YCM Events Chef, blending gastronomy with the art of living at sea.

A parade at sea where classic sailing yachts, period motor yachts and vintage powerboats pass before an exceptional Jury, chaired by Allegra Gucci, and the public. Elegance, style and refinement define this highlight of Monaco Classic Week.

The Grand Jury, chaired by Sir Robin Knox- Johnston, the first sailor to complete a solo nonstop circumnavigation, will reward the most remarkable yachts. The coveted Monaco Classic Week Trophy pays tribute to faithful restorations, elegance at sea and the authenticity of participating boats. An always moving occasion when the living history of yachting meets the present.

Monaco Classic Week is also about the buzz along the quays: conviviality, cocktails, encounters, and that unique atmosphere where glamour, heritage and celebration come together in the heart of the Principality. There are also mechanical treasures on display including a 1930s BMW 309, flanked by vintage motorcycles from 1932 and 1957. They will also host a workshop on knots and seamanship, led by La Belle Classe Academy, on Saturday 13th September at 3.00pm.
