The Classic Yachting Rendezvous

The event enthusiastically attracts enthusiasts and collectors from all over the world, and each edition sees more than 100 classic boats, both sailing and motor, converge on Monaco.

Regattas for traditional sailing boats, dead reckoning for motor yachts, endurance and manoeuvrability tests for motorboats… all these races bring back to life the atmosphere and spirit of the nautical competitions of the early 20th century, when speed and innovation were at the heart of maritime gatherings.

This competition measures etiquette, style, a certain respect for good manners and good behaviour at sea, all in a great spirit of festivity.

Powerboats, particularly the iconic mahogany models, embody unrivalled elegance and performance, echoing the golden age of yachting. These boats, often from the 1950s and carefully restored, represent the very essence of maritime luxury and the technical innovation of their era.

Classic dinghies bring a touch of charm and tradition to Monaco Classic Week. These small yachts, often made of wood, are appreciated for their manoeuvrability and timeless elegance. Designed to sail close to the coast and take part in friendly regattas, the dinghies offer a captivating spectacle on the water, where the skill of the sailors comes to the fore.
