The Yacht Club de Monaco is organizing the world’s first biennial gathering of both sailing and motor yachts to pay tribute to the maritime heritage of sailing. This event echoes the first motorboat meetings in 1904, and is the only one to bring together the finest traditional sailing boats, vintage motor-yachts and vintage motorboats. For the last four editions, a fleet of 12′ Dinghies has been added to this event. In this way, the Club testifies to its unwavering commitment to sailing’s maritime heritage.
The wind of competition is blowing through Monaco Classic Week, the event organized by the Yacht Club de Monaco. Combining parade and competition, the event features regattas, races and maneuverability contests in a variety of categories, often featuring boats over a hundred years old. The Monaco Classic Week Trophy is awarded to the overall winner of the event, rewarding all the criteria assessed in terms of restoration and elegance. This week of competition is a real spectacle for sailing enthusiasts from all horizons.
