With the class of metrics

Classic boats respecting the international gauge (metric gauge) will be honored.

Born at the dawn of the twentieth century, the metric class is at the origin of the major technological evolutions that made it possible to write the most beautiful pages in the history of modern sailing, inspiring the greatest naval architects to image Nathanael Herreshoff whose talent earned him the nickname of “Sorcerer of Bristol”. The 6 M JI, 8 M JI, 12 M JI and the fleet of 15 M JI including Tuiga, the auric cutter Y.C.M. will be at the heart of the event and will seduce an audience always faithful to the appointment.

A Chefs Competition highlights the importance of living well when aboard. And all the while at sea, racing sees gaff rigs, sloops, ketches, yawls and schooners competing together, a spectacle guaranteed by the Race Committee as it alternates starts according to rig type.

Other highlights include the prestigious La Belle Classe evening which unites owners keen to uphold values of the elite club they belong to because of the commitments it requires.Between tradition and Art de Vivre la Mer, this is a week for strolling along the southern quays of Port Hercule to admire these dames from another era, restored to their youthful prime by their owners.
